Instructions on How to Use NAFCU’s Online Training Program

  1. Go to www.nafcu-training.org to sign in using your credit union’s training program username and password.
  2. Select the appropriate training program.
    1. Use the group setting for group training sessions.  Group training sessions do not include the option to test, and there will not be an outline visible in order to maximize the size of the presentation.  If you want to see the outline, use your mouse to click on the “size” icon in the lower right corner of the training program.
    2. Use the individual setting for individual sessions.  Individual sessions will have an outline to the left of the screen and a quiz.  Users will be able to navigate back and forth throughout the presentation.  In addition, there are “notes” that give users another method to read the narration.  To remove the notes section, use your mouse to click the “x” button within the notes section area.  Note that some slides in the individual sessions will require users to use their mouse to click on tabs to view additional information.
    3. Both individual and group settings allow users to pause the presentation and move forward and backward.  In addition, both settings allow users to adjust the volume of the presentation.
  3. To view handouts, transcripts or FAQs, use your mouse to click on the attachments icon in the upper right-hand corner of the presentation.
  4. To exit a training session, click on the exit button in the upper right-hand corner of the presentation.
  5. The slide duration bar will display the number of the slide and how long the audio and animations are on that slide. You can advance forward or backward to other slides in the presentation by clicking the “Backward” and “Forward” buttons.
  6. Individual presentations will have an optional quiz at the end of the session.  Users may take the quiz.  If your credit union wants to document results, have the user print out the results screen after the quiz.  Please note that when taking the quiz, some questions require you to click on an answer, while others ask you to “drag and drop” answers or type answers.  Be sure to read each question closely.
